Kiss Of Uncertainty

I'm blotting out the sun but I need light,

I'm a warrior who never wants to fight

I'm home yet I feel like a rogue

And I'm casted out by their judging sight

My life feels like a deserted oasis

I don't need illusions, not in any degre

A bite to the cactus and a drink from the sand will be,

The one that requires my full mastery

I stand upon pillars of dirt

My deathbed will be of wilted bark

I proved that my life has no worth,

I failed at living so I gave it a smirk

I feel like a king in a sea of gods

Still subjected to obey without a subject to rule

Heed me, we're all doomed

Here in the land of the seekers, forever isn't enough to seek the truth.
