You know she's sad
(Although she says she is fine)
You know that feeling well
(too well)
Like
It's you against the world
And you must be the STRONG one
(Always strong)
Like…
Like an ox
(sometimes feels like a rock)
The weight
Not just on your shoulders
While they flit round
The worries
Inside your head
Like birds
The kind that scratch
And rip
And tear
And suddenly
It's not her in hell
It's me
And I'm falling
Or flying
Am I?
