Ducking and Flailing

Running and dashing-

Ducking and flailing-

Comepletely out of breath,

But not really caring.

Hury-be quick!

Faster- make haste!

Time is closing in,

So I pick up the pace.

It's right in my view,

Now I'm starting to sweat.

I'm cutting it close-

As close as it will get.

I slide through the door-

Impressed with my feat,

Just before the bell-

I slouch in my seat .
