| Be Our Light
Author: StoryStan Wow, I completely forgot this poem! It is about how we need the Lord to save us from the darkness. On a completely unrelated side note, how do you make the line that goes across the screen?

Be Our Light
Day is gone, and night is here
Bringing with it its tendrils of ice
On everyone, it holds a grip of fear
As if sucking out all that is nice.
The darkness, throbbing, pulsing, flowing
Suffocating, crushing down,
Oh, how I wish the sun was glowing,
With rays like its golden crown!
Lord, be the light onto our path
And the lamp onto our feet.
Hold back the nighttime's darkest wrath,
And bring to us Your grace, so sweet.
Thank you, Lord, the (Son/sun) has risen!
Freeing us from the devil's prison!
