Chapter 1 Friday the 13th

It was the first day of the month of March and also, Friday the 13th appeared on the calendar. Dennis and his family had no worries about anybody who is gonna attack him. They are doing their normal morning routine and Dennis and Katelyn are going to school.

As the two siblings go to a different school because they're both in the different grades, there is a humanoid fox and a purple crown that is hiding in that bush. They took a peek and saw Dennis flying to school. The two person or objects that are hiding in the bush is Song Ha and her new partner, Zane, the second form of Zarak's with a red demonic black eyes.

Song Ha whispered, "Okay Zane, follow Dennis around the one in the black and purple with blue jeans clothes and if he makes any bad luck move like spilling salt, stepping on crack, or black cat in your path, just do it."

Zane nodded and transformed into a black cat and walks to Foxwood High school. He tries to avoid attention of the students and then he hides in the bush nearby the school entrance. Then, he peeks out and saw Dennis is entering the school and talking to nobody. When the students all entered in the school, Zane got out of the bush and walks right into the school without any security guards noticing it. Cats and Foxes are sneaky when it comes to hunting. He sniffs around for Dennis and he uses illusions on the cameras so the people think Zane is a student. Finally, it leads him into the math room and he transformed back to his humanoid fox form.

He looked out the window and saw Dennis is taking notes very quietly. Zane whispered to himself, "This is not a good time to do it, but maybe after school, but I have to report to Song." He uses his illusions again to make himself visible and he cannot be seen. Then, he turns to the entrance door and opens it without anybody noticing except the cameras. The cameras film the entrance door and nobody was there and the door closes by itself.

Zane finally got out of the school and goes back to Song Ha, who is hiding in the bush. He came to her and quietly whispered into her ears, "Dennis is in the classroom and I think we should wait after school."

Song groaned in frustration, "I hate it when it school time and WILL let's go with after school, we do bad luck on Dennis, or maybe doing bad lucks right now."

Song hopped onto Zane's back and commanded, "Take me straight to Dennis' house and we shall add bad lucks by hurting his mom's back, more bad lucks, and adding chaos to the city." Zane ran to Dennis' house with Song on his back and howled.

Finally, when they arrived there, Song hopped off of Zane's back and gave a list of 13 bad lucks. Song explained about the list, "Okay, here's the list you must do 13 or 7 bad lucks on each day. One bad luck per day after Friday the 13th. Also, be sure not fail me, I will get my Pegasus, Sondra, rides me back home." She handed over the list to him and Zane grabbed it.

Zane read silently in his mind and the lists said:

First Day: Step on the crack and break his or her mother's back

2nd Day: Make Dennis' sister kills a real ladybug and makes an illusion on ladybug to turn it into a slug.

3rd Day: Make an illusion that you are a bat that flies to your house.

4th Day: Black cat that crosses Dennis' path

5th Day: Make Dennis spills salt on the table

6th Day: Turn invisible and cause chaos around Dennis

7th Day: Rob a store, bank, or factory and make a Dennis illusion to do so. Keep doing this for 13 times and it will make him goes to jail

8th or more days before the 13th: If Dennis is in jail, pretends and make an illusion of his father and say negative stuffs to him when meeting him. Let him sit there for days and thinking about himself and doing nothing. When he returns from jail, pretends to his father and says more negative stuff and it will make Dennis runs away.

Zane looked at Song and he nodded and puts the list away by his fur pocket. Song winked and called for Sondra. Sondra came and picks up Song and opened up a portal and returns back to Mystical Island. Zane is prepare to do the list and starts adding bad luck.

First, he goes to Dennis' back door of the house and enters in because someone left the back door opened. Then, he saw Dennis' mother is flowering the garden and Zane went invisible and sneakily went up towards to her. When he got close, he kicks Ming's back and Ming yelped, "Ow, my back."

Ming tries to bend over and it hurts and she can't move. Ming shouted for help, "SORA! I CAN'T MOVE!"

Then, Dennis' father, Sora, came outside to see what's wrong and asked, "What? What's wrong?"

Then, Zane invisibly kicks harder with his right foot and hurts Ming's back more. Ming was knocked down and she can't move, "I need help." Then she starts crying from the pain of her back.

Sora gasped and quickly rushed over to her and picked at her up, "Are you okay?"

"Not really, but my back hurts and I think I need to rest," Ming said. Sora carries her in his arms and walked back inside of the house to lay her on her bed.

Zane evilly smirked and said, "Task number one is done."

When Dennis and Katelyn got home from school, they both saw Dennis' mother was in bad and crying from her back pain.

Dennis walked over to his mom and asked, "What's wrong, Mom?"

"My back hurts and I don't know why? I never felt like this before," Mom painfully replied to him.

"Uh, maybe someone stepped on the crack and it hurts your back?" Dennis nervously replied to her.

"I don't know and I don't feel like walking on foot again," responded Ming.

"Get well soon, Mom," Dennis smiled and kisses his mom on the forehead and leaves the room. His mother lay there, doing nothing all day in the bed, and staring at the ceiling blankly.

As nighttime comes by, the Nagasaki's family went to sleep and refreshing for the next day. Ming hopefully wants her back to feel better tomorrow, but she might not move for a couple of days because her back is broken. Song and Zane were both on the move and sneaking around the house.

Song asked quietly to Zane, "So Zane, did you did the first one on the list?"

"Yeah and the first bad luck is done and next is making an illusion of a slug to trick Dennis that was a slug and then it turned into a ladybug," replied Zane.

"Close, but I like that idea. Besides, Katelyn isn't that important to me anyway. By the way, can you find a ladybug at night?" Song said.

"I don't think so and ladybugs are kind of sleeping and I think it's gonna be very hard to find," Zane replied.

"Just do your best and if you can't find any, just fail for the day and do it tomorrow," Song said and then she left him alone. Zane starts searching for a ladybug and sniffing it on the ground.

On the next day, Zane sniffs harder all night to find a ladybug and Dennis is getting ready for school. Zane got tire and he took a nap on the grass without Dennis' parents noticing him in the backyard.

As the kids went to school, Zarak went outside in the backyard to get a fresh air. Then, he saw Zane was sleeping on the ground and he's bigger than Zarak.

Zarak walks over there and gasped, "What? A fox that looks like me, but only in a humanoid form."

Zane snores and scratches his ears a little, and then keeps snoring. Zarak wants to talk to him because he looks oddly familiar, but who knows? He knows this is the second or third evolution of the illusion fox on Mystical Island. It does not looks like his family or other siblings that Zarak had, but he must ask.

Zarak licks his face multiple times to wake him up. Zane pushes him in his sleep and went back to snoring. Zarak was furious and he charges a dark pulse from his mouth and blasts it at his face. Zane was immediately awake and took a little damage from Zarak's dark pulse.

Zarak and Zane are facing at each other for the first time and Zarak begins the conversation. Also, Zarak gasped at the looks of Zane's eyes because it looks very demonic like Song Ha.

"So who are you? Are you from Mystical Island?" asked Zarak.

Zane stood up straight and he was definitely taller than Zarak and he replied, "Yes, I'm from Mystical Island and my name is Zane."

Zarak never heard that name before, so he responded, "So Zane, are you a Mystical Illusion Fox like me because I am too."

"Yes and I'm working for someone else and stop bugging me. Also, I gotta get out of here," Zane quickly disappears in front of Zarak's face by the speed of a cheetah.

"WAIT!" Zarak was too late and then he sat down in the grass and thinking about this new illusion fox that he met today.

It was another long day and day has turn into night. No bad luck occurs and Ming's back still hurts. Zarak told everything about the fox named, Zane to Dennis and Katelyn only. Dennis was really anxious about the fox that had demonic eyes like Song Ha that he met in Mystical Island, but he ignores the fact about it. He thinks the fox is harmless anyway. Song and Zane meet each other again in the backyard of Dennis' home.

Song asked, "Did you make another bad luck?"

"No, but maybe I'll try the third one," Zane said.

"Okay, but the third one isn't that important to me, but only the 6th and 7th day are important to us. If you want to do it for fun, that is just fine," Song replied, "Also, I hope nobody interferes anything about our plan and the curse."

"Yeah and I'm not going to do them anyway, they seems ridiculous and a waste of time to me, but 6th and 7th sound cooler to me," Zane said.

"Okay, but let's continue the conversation about our plans after the 13t," said Song.

To be mindful, I will skips some of the days because not to waste time and also, just flowing into the story.

Now, in the future of San Diego…

There are two kids that are running away from the demon ghost named Kevin who is fighting Dennis and the kids are both in ghost form. They're ghost forms both have black, yellow, and white color schemes and both wearing the same clothing styles too, but different colors inside of them.

The girl panted and said, "Mark, we have to return back to the past to save our father."

"Yeah, but I want to save myself from Kevin too, why does he wants both of us?" replied the boy named Mark.

"Well, we have a time watch in our hand and it will return us to the past, I just hope dad is okay and also I can't believe all of the villains gang up on our dad for using him as a tool of destruction," said the girl.

"Well Kristy, that time watch will help us and alternate the future right here. Also, I can't believe my dad told me the story that he was once a mutated bird, but not anymore before I was born," panted Mark.

"Yeah and we have to change the future, or it can risks more of our lives. Also, we can't tell them who we are either. We have to be very careful with the time watch, the time dragon gave it to us and it's 1000 years old. If broken, we are going back to our present time and everything will erase our memories and the time stream hasn't altered yet. We have to change the past and return home quickly with our good memories that is still in it," said the girl named Kristy.

"Well, let's go back to the past to find our dad, Dennis Nagasaki, who is still a teenager," Mark smiled and Kristy holds hand onto Mark's. Kristy presses the time watch and both siblings disappeared in the future and now transported to the past of San Diego.

Mark and Kristy were both transported into Day 5th of March before the 13th in the after noon and the time seems to skipped ahead, but a good chance to talk to younger Dennis. They both looked around San Diego in the neighborhood to find Dennis' home.

Dennis and Katelyn were both asleep in the room. Next, Zane was on the move and he knocks on the door loudly so Dennis' parents can hear them and then turns invisible.

Sora opened the door and asked, "Hello?" He looks around and no one was there, but Zane sneakily got inside of Dennis' home. "Hmm, neighborhood kids." Then, he shut the door and walks upstairs to get ready for sleep.

Zane finally got to Dennis' room and Dennis was sleeping very peacefully. He smirked and then quietly sat down and he plans to sleep along with him through the night. He got some surprises for the next morning to add bad luck to. Mark and Kristy were both trying to look for Dennis' house, but they were both cold and tire to look for them. Kristy remembers when her father told her about the tree house that he built when after he first beaten Kevin. She leads her brother, Mark, into the forest and found a tree house in the tree; they climbed up the ladder to the tree house door and flip them over. They found everything was clean and empty. No one was there, so Mark and Kristy sleep on the hammock and slept warm through the night.

On the next day again, Dennis yawns and he got out of bed to take a bathroom break and brushing his teeth. Zane twitched his ears and opened his eyes. He saw him going to the bathroom and Zane follows him invisibly.

When Dennis looks into the mirror, he broke it when he looks into it, but actually, Zane broke it.

Dennis gasped, "What? How did I do that?" He shrugs his shoulders and exits the bathroom and goes to breakfast table.

His family were all there and Dennis sat down on the chair and it broke.

Dennis was suddenly all confused, "What? WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME?"

Sora, Dennis' father said, "Well, maybe that because it's old."

When Dennis slowly stood up, Zane makes a fart sound and Katelyn and Zarak laughed out loud.

Dennis was embarrassed and he said, "I did NOT fart and I really didn't."

"Come on, you farted and we all heard that. Your mother is sick because of her back and still not better yet," Sora rolled his eyes and act like he didn't care.

"I swear I did not fart," he clenched his teeth and he was practically being tease.

Zane snickered and Zarak heard it. Zarak asked, "Hey, does anybody hears a snickering sound?"

Dennis glared at Zarak, "So you farted and you always snickers some times."

"Not true and I did not make a fart sound, do you want a scratch from me?" Zarak growled at him and he did swear that he did not snicker or make a fart sound out of his mouth,

Zane shuts his mouth and watched the family continues the conversation and eating breakfast. Zane wasn't hungry at all and he can live without food for 3 days.

At the end of breakfast, Dennis and Katelyn get their backpacks and get ready to go to school. Zane follows Dennis only, but Dennis flies into the air, but still possible for him to create bad lucks as he flies. Sora helps his wife all day, back and forth to her room with her needs, and he was getting sick and tire of being the maid and Ming is the sick person.

Mark and Kristy woke up next and they transformed into their ghost selves and flies out of the tree house. They both try to look for their father and then they heard a whoosh from someone was passing them from above, which is Dennis.

At the moment Dennis passes, he first notice the two kids next to each other and looking like a bumblebee color scheme. He stopped flying any further and flies back to them and the two kids fly toward to him. As they both fly toward to each other, they both crashed down to the ground each other. Zane saw Dennis and ran back to him.

Mark, Kristy, and Dennis all rubbed their heads and then opened their eyes to look at each other.

Dennis gasped at his reaction to them, "You, you look like me and Clara a little."

Mark gasped and he is exciting to see his teen father in real life, "Whoa, you're my dad right?"

Dennis was confused and said, "No, I don't have any kids."

Kristy slapped him in the shoulders and quietly whispered to Mark, "We weren't suppose to tell them who we are and where we come from."

"Oh right," Mark responded to her.

Dennis asked, "So who are you teenagers? Do you go here?"

"We are Mark and Kristy and we're from Mystical Island," Mark answered in confidant.

Then Dennis spotted Kristy's time watch around her neck, "And what's that time watch over there around your neck?"

Kristy looked at her neck and gasped. She hides the time watch back into her shirt and she replied, "Well, this is my favorite watch that my boyfriend gave me." She knew that she lied back, she swear not to let Dennis to know where Mark and she come from.

"Okay and I got to go to school," Dennis stood up and flies toward again. Zane saw the kids that looks like Dennis and Clara for a little moment and then follows back to Dennis invisibly again.

Mark looked at Kristy and asked, "What's next? Are we going to talk to him after school?"

"Yeah, let's do that," Kristy nodded to her brother.

In Foxwood High, Dennis was walking around in the hallway with invisible Zane that is next to him and he didn't notice that.

When Dennis walked up to Zack, he waves at him, "Hi."

Zack waves to him back, but Zane invisibly grabbed his hand and Zack was confused, "What is going on?" Then Zane crushed him into the locker and bangs his head into it. Dennis, Marissa, and Trisha all gasped and then Zane lets go of him and then Zack was beaten very badly.

Trisha covers her mouth and she is Zack's girlfriend, "Oh no, I have to report to the nurse."

Marissa said, "I'm coming, Zack."

Dennis took a step back and he couldn't believe that it was done by invisible. Can it be really him like there are two sides of him? Or maybe it's a bad luck. He shrugs his shoulders and walked through the hallway to the cafeteria and Zane continues to follow him after.

When he arrives at the cafeteria table nearby lots of kids. When all of the teens look at him, they all went to the other side of the cafeteria, which is the left side of the cafeteria. Dennis had no idea what was going on and he sat by an empty table alone and he starts eating his packed lunch that his dad gave him: Broccoli and rice.

Zane snickers so he starts messing people around in the cafeteria, by changing people minds.

5 minutes before the bell rings, the teens fought each other; Zane tries to dodge all of the food that they were throwing, even Dennis too. The principal came and yelled, "WHY IS THERE ANOTHER FOOD FIGHT IN HERE?"

All of the teens stopped throwing the food. Zane walks to Dennis to make sure he didn't lose him. The principal saw everyone is dirty except for Dennis.

The principal's face is so mad and he said, "Well Dennis, you started another food fight."

"But I didn't, I was on the right side of the cafeteria and all of the teens were on left side. Someone must've started the food fight in the left side," Dennis complained to the principal.

Zane whispered into the principal's ears in Dennis' voice, "Yes, I did start the food fight with my bad luck."

But Dennis said in same time as Zane said, "No, I did not start the food fight with bad luck or anything about that."

The principal gasped for a moment and commanded, "Just go to the office and we're sending you home. Do you really want to get expel for the year?"

Dennis nodded a no and he follows the principal to the office, so Zane too.

When they stopped by at the principal's office, the principal called Dennis' father and he told everything about the food fight. The principal gave the phone to Dennis and his father yells at him.

Dennis replied to his father, but actually it's Zane, but here what Dennis says, Dad I really didn't, honest."

But in same time, Zane disguises Dennis' true voice behind Zane's Dennis false voice and Zane said to his father in a real way, "Yes I did start a food fight. Punish me when I get home."

Sora screamed at him, "I don't care and you're grounded when you get home."

Dennis handed the phone back to the principal sadly and the principal replied, "Okay Mr. Nagasaki, I will send Dennis home immediately and I will suspend him for 2 weeks. Good day." He hangs up the phone.

The principal glares at Dennis and pointed him to the door to get out and go home. Dennis looked down sadly and walks out of the principal's office and sadly goes home by air. Zane smirked and he keeps an eye on him to make sure he didn't lose sight of him again.

As Dennis flew, he stopped at Mark and Kristy, the kids that he saw earlier in the morning.

Mark looked at Dennis and asked, "What's wrong, Dennis?"

Dennis was shocked about Mark knows his name. He asked, "Mark, how do you know my name?"

"Well, I just know you somehow maybe on the newspaper media and what happened?" Mark replied to him and asked again.

Dennis sadly signed, "I got suspended twice again and this time, it's longer."

Mark frowned, "Aw, is there anyway I can help you?"

Kristy joined the conversation and asked, "Anyway, this is not helping and how are we going to face his dad?"

Dennis said sadly, "Thanks for the offer for help, but I have to do what I really didn't do. My dad believes the principal besides me. I got to get punish no matter what, at least I'm together as a family." Then, he flies away to return home. Zane runs again to the house.

When Dennis and Zane arrived at the house, Dennis transformed back into his human self and knocked the door. His father, Sora, opened the door and he lets him to come in and talk on the couch.

Sora glared at him and asked him seriously, "Dennis, why are you doing this on purpose?"

Dennis tried to reply, "I—" Then, the vase broke by invisible Zane and they both heard it and Dennis tried again, "didn't" another vase was broken, "do it." Then, the table was smashed in front of Sora and Dennis.

Sora was upset and he said, "Talk no more and go to your room."

Dennis signed and he went to his room and shut the door. He jumped onto his bed and cried on his pillow. Zane jumped in yes and next, he exits the house and goes to somewhere to find Song.

He looks everywhere to find Song and 2 minutes later, he found Song was napping under the Maple Tree.

Zane made a sound to wake Song up, "Psst, psst, Song, I got Dennis a bad day."

Song gasped and suddenly awaken, "Whoa, you did?" She looked at Zane and he was smiling at her.

"Yeah, I did and also, next. I'm doing robberies." Zane said.

Song nodded, "Good, do it today and over the night too. Rob stores, banks, and jewelries. Hide it in the ocean and never return it. After Dennis is in jail for 4 days or 5, make a real attempt that someone else did it. Make an illusion of someone else to prove Dennis is innocent at the end of 4 or 5 days."

"Gotcha and suddenly in 3rd day of his jail, I will make an illusion of his father and saying horrible stuff at him," Zane evilly smirked.

Song and Zane both nodded and Zane went off to rob stores and banks. He did disguises himself as Dennis by using illusion powers. He robbed jewelry stores and banks for many hours and the police try to chase after him. Every robbing attempt he made, he put the items that he stole into the ocean and it was never found until the truth has spoken.

At 5:00 am in the morning, the police surrounded him.

The female police officer said, "Put your hands up ninja boy and surrender."

Zane evilly smirked as a response and said nothing.

Then a male officer with a mustache commanded for questions, "Alright, who are you kid and where are you from?"

"I'm Dennis Zhang Nagasaki and I'm not telling you where I live," Zane answered with an evil smirk.

"We got your full name kid, and I will file every school on you to get the information," the female police officer smiled.

Zane replied, "Well, try to catch me because I'm quick." He escaped from the crime scene into the forest and the police try to catch after him into the forest.

As they search for him, Zane disguises himself as a bear and he growled at the. The police got scared and ran out of the forest and back to the police car and drives to the station. Zane transform back into his normal self and snickered. He ran off again to find song that he completed the task.

At 5:30 am, the police look up on the information about Dennis Zhang Nagasaki and they found what school he goes to and where he lives. Also, it's the exact same face where they trying to catch him last night.

The female officer said, "Looks like you're going to juvenile until you're released from your parent or turning 18."

At 7:00am, the police officers arrived at Dennis' home. The two same police officers went to the door and knocks on it. Sora opened it and he got bit spook.

Sora nervously greeted, "Hello there, and what are you doing?"

"We are here for Dennis Zhang Nagasaki and we got the evidence of the tape about robbing banks and the stores," the female said, "Well, I'm Officer Jenny and this is Officer Marshall."

Sora gasped, "Really? All night, he was sleep soundly."

"But I got the tape," Jenny singsong.

Sora signed, "Fine, just do it on our tv."

Marshall looked at the broken table and asked, "Why is your table is broken?"

"I don't know and it was the sound of Dennis' voice maybe," muttered Sora.

"Well, ROLL THE CLIP," Jenny ordered.

The clip was putted together all in one tape and it was edited by a special video editor. There was 13 slides and Sora couldn't believe it in his eyes.

Sora covers his mouth and then he turns angry. He yelled, "DENNIS!"

Katelyn, Ming, and Zarak can hear the sound of Sora's angry voice from the living room and they all ignore it. Dennis was in his room doing nothing and he heard his dad was calling him. He gets out and goes down the stairs to the living room. When he gets to the living room, he saw tow police officers and his father.

Dennis nervously gulped, "What?"

Two police officers and Sora crossed their arms and they all glare at him.
