Mask

Hidden tears. False lies,

Ever-lasting pain, the mask

Shows fake happiness.

Truth is too painful,

Lies relieves the human soul,

The truth abandoned.

No one must know, these

True feelings, the mask is a

Protector for us.

Shall the world know truth,

Shame will come for thee. The mask

Will crumble away.

Little by little,

The sins, lies, sorrow, anger,

And regret escaped.
