You wonder why
Paris is called
Le Cité D'Amour
-The city of love.
All around you see the romance.
French kisses
And couples strolling hand in hand
Along the Champs Elysée,
You also wonder why
The pickpockets steal
And the beggars lie in the street
Pleading for change.
Everyone wants love.
Everyone needs love.
Just a shame some have to pay for love
In more ways than one.
