At the beginning of time, Gaia, the earth, and Uranus, the sky, held a small bundle wrapped in cloth. Gaia stroked the bundle once, and with great sorrow, cast it into the abyss. Rain splattered the ground as Uranus cried. His wife's eyes met his, and she put a finger over her lips. He nodded, and the earth and sky embraced.
Among the nothingness, the bundle began to cry.
