Diana POV

The kids were off for two weeks but we hadn't seen them in two days which was just as well because Sonia and I had been getting along really well. I closed my eyes and laid there as she explored my body all over again. Slow kissed gentle bites. I couldn't believe that she had finally done it. Not in my wildest dreams had I imagined she would love me back.. and love me this good without experience well I was in heaven. I briefly wondered just how much of what she was doing was what my niece had told her to do. This meant my niece was a skillful lover and I really didn't want to think about that since she had been holed up with Wilkes for the past two days. I shivered as she hit one of my spots and her phone rang. She ignored it and kept going. Then my phone rang and we both looked at each other. It must be the kids right.. it was such a small coincidence that our phones would ring back to back. I answered as she laid one slow kiss on my inner thigh and I bit my lip to keep from moaning.

"Miss Diana I am sorry to interrupt but I wondered if you knew where my mom was I need to speak with her." Sandra said her voice trembling and I answered

"sure I do gurl you ok?"

"a little shook up but I am fine"

"ok here is your mama"

I gave her the phone and got up to pee. When I came back the look on Sonia's face told me something had gone wrong.

"leave and come here baby now ok you be careful now I'll be waiting and call me back if something else happens."

she said and hung up then she started looking for her clothes. Her place wasn't too far from mine now.

"whats wrong baby?"

"that asshole showed up at my apartment and threatened my baby girl. He wont sign the damn divorce papers and told her if I wanted them signed I better come find him myself. He asked where I had been and shook her she told him. God Diana I am so sorry"

"hey its cool I can handle myself. I ain't mad she told him I am glad. Let that motherfucker come looking for you here and see what he finds."

"Diana you cant.. he is my problem and I will deal with it but until I do I think its best we cool down for a bit" I stood there shocked.

"cool down for a bit Sonia.. exactly what does that mean?" someone knocked on my front door. I ignored it

"Diana this is great but its happening very fast for me ok and I need to think plus if he finds me here with you we will all pay. We should cool our jets for a while"

I shook my head. I couldn't believe I had done it. I fell for her like I did back in high school and now she was walking away from me again. Such a dumb ass I was.

"Diana" she said reaching for me

"I get it.. you cant hang until you clear your head and you should clear it... clear it from all the good things we shared, convince yourself that you're better off out there with a man but do me a favor and don't come back here If you leave now consider us done and over with I ain't gonna be your lab rat anymore. I have feelings too Sonia and I aint got time for this shit "

I said and slammed the door. How had I not seen this coming .. this falling in love stuff.. with her it was always like this. She pulled me in , made me care and left without realizing she'd hurt me and she'd done it twice.. I was such a fool.

"Damn it Diana hold on" she shouted as she came after me wearing just a shirt and panties.

"I didn't know you felt that way before and I am not saying I don't want to see you again but I was married for a really long time. I need time to get over that and I didn't make the time plus if anything happens to you or your niece because of me I would die."

"don't worry about us... we were fine before yall came and we will be fine after yall leave. Now get back in there and get dressed before your daughter comes. Wouldn't want her to find you half naked with a lesbian." I said and opened the door . The cop stopped knocking and looked at me

"Mrs. Banks?"

"Its Ms. But yes?"

"Can I come in and talk to you? This is about your niece"

"is she alright what's happened to her?"

"you don't know where she is?"

"Not at this moment why?"

"We got a call from NYPD to follow up on her case apparently the one they had in custody gave up the others and they were supposed to be in L. A. When the officers went to pull them in for questioning there was no sign of them. In their place were pictures of your niece, recent ones of her . It was like they had been following her. The latest picture was of this place and it was taken three days ago."

"how do you know that for sure?"

"It was time and date stamped taken from a digital camera."

"Shit.. mother fucking son of a bitch!."

"we would like to offer you and your niece protection at least until we find them"

"naw we gonna be fine thanks for the heads up" I said he left me his card and left. I went back in my room and started packing. I knew Sonia had heard so I didn't bother explaining.

"are you mad? you should have taken the protection. This isn't just about you anymore its about her"

"I can protect her myself plus I know her she would hate the police protection as much as I did"

"Not if you told her what it was for not if you told her it was for her best interest. You are the parent or the adult here.. make the right choice for her Diana"

"Look woman, I know you mean well but you don't understand and just because you don't trust me to protect you doesn't mean she doesn't trust me."

Someone knocked on the door and I said "that would be Sandra you might want to get that"

I packed my guns the two I had in the house and I made a phone call to my shop to let them know I was taking a long break. When I got off the phone Diana was getting in Sandra's car.. damn not even a goodbye.

"I am going to Jasmine's which is where I assume you are going?"

I nodded and she said "good we will argue there"

she must have forgotten who I was, there was no arguing with me. Sandra used her key to get in to her sister's place and it was relatively quiet. We heard sounds from the bedroom and I groaned. I hated to interrupt but I didn't have a lot of time. I wanted to be at my other place before sun down. It was already mid afternoon and the drive would take a while.

I burst in the room and froze I felt Diana behind me and I am sure Sandra was too. We watched transfixed as Rose laid on the bed her stomach in a position I had see her do on a mat. A kind of reversed somersault thing. Jasmine held her hips as she grinded into her with a a dildo. My niece looked like a woman ; a woman who was in the throes of passion. Jasmine jerked when she saw us and then looked back . The jerking made Rose scream her name and claw at the bed just as Jasmine threw her head back as her orgasm caught her from behind. She said "shit" as she came and fell on top of Rose covering her with her body.

"what the fuck ma?" Jasmine spoke her voice deep and cracking from her release

"excuse me Jasmine but we have a problem. Yall need to get dressed and come out"

"you could have knocked" she said

Sandra laughed and said "and miss the kodak moment hell naw" I closed the door that image in my mind and I was turned on because I wondered if Sonia could do the move. We shared a heated look then she looked away. I grabbed a beer from Jasmine's fridge and waited for them to come out. Rose came out in one of Jasmine's shirts and panties and Jasmine came out in a sports bra and shorts.

"We are leaving Rose you need to get properly dressed. We wont be back for a while so I will buy you clothes when we get to where we are going"

"whats happening auntie?" she said her voice scared

"Those guys who came after you they are back and they know where we live who your friends are we need to leave now"

"we are we all going then?" she asked scared and hopeful

"No Sonia and her family have business of their own to attend to."

"what's that ma?" Jasmine asked her mother

"Your father harassed your sister he wont sign the damn papers until I meet with him and I think you are both in danger at this point if he doesn't get me he will try for you guys and I cant let him put a hand on yall again so you are coming to stay with us for a few days until I track him down and make him sign these damn divorce papers"

"Rose go and get some clothes on we are leaving" she looked at me still not moving... why the hell did I have such a stubborn niece

"we have no other choice ? How do you know they know?" she asked holding on to Jasmine's hand.

"the cop told me"

"There is something you aren't telling me Tia?"

"They had pictures of you from three days ago.. pictures at the house"

the look of fear and horror on her face was painful to see

"they've been following me? Doesn't that mean then that miss Sonia and her family are in danger too? Auntie please think this through.. we run then what.. just wait until they are caught? What if they never are? I don't go back to school ? I don't live my life..?"

"Its not up for discussion Rose get up and get some damn clothes on" I raised my voice and she thrust her chin out. That was her imma be stubborn pose

"I wont go until Jasmine comes.. and Sandra and miss Sonia.. they are in as much danger. What if they don't find me and decide to ask questions.. they have been at our house enough.. I wont put them in danger too."

"damn it Wilkes a little help here" I said looking at Jasmine we shared a look. She knew my niece was stubborn as hell. She also knew I was right often enough. I wanted to know if she loved my niece enough to let her go, at least for now.

"Come on baby I'll help you get dressed you aunt is right you should leave now. If they don't find you with us they will leave us alone. Plus this father situation is one we have to deal with "

she ushered Rose back into her room. They spent about ten minutes and then Rose came out wearing a dress and slides.

"what ?we went clubbing last night its all I have clean"

she looked like a woman now .. my baby girl was all grown up. Her lips were red from kissing Wilkes no doubt and she sported several hickeys that even her hair couldn't hide. She still had those broad shoulders and those strong legs.

"I love you .. take care of yourself" she said and stared to cry. By the look on Jasmine's face it was the first time she'd said it and Jasmine gave me a long look. This wasnt over. Sandra and her hugged crying all over each other and she gave Sonia a hug too.

"I don't know what happened between yall . I hope it wasn't my fault. Take care miss Sonia and thank you" she said to Sonia

"Oh no baby it wasn't your fault at all and I will take care of them if you take care of her. We'll see each other again I promise you that." Sonia said looking at me and I looked away

Rose nodded and I waved not wanting to hug everyone. I couldn't hug Sonia or I would beg her to come with us and I had too much dignity for that shit. We got in the car and Rose cried and eventually fell asleep. The rest of the drive was boring. I was hoping I was doing the right thing but I missed Sonia a hell of a lot.

Jasmine POV

I paced and tried not to cry. She had told me she loved me and I knew she wasn't bull shitting. We hadn't been making love when she said it either. I knew I loved her too but I couldn't say it yet.

"stop you'll get your chance to tell her you love her" My mom said and I stopped and looked at her. She looked sad and tired and lonely. Sandra was sleeping.

"What do you mean?" I asked

"I know where Diana is going or I think I do. So I am going to go find your dad and get him to sign then we are going to go find them. Rose is right we could be in danger too plus if that stubborn ass female thinks she is getting rid of me that easily she got another think coming" I knew my mom was talking about miss D.

"what happened?"

"she misunderstood me or I put my foot in my mouth but I am willing to fix it. Come on we will go find your father and then be on our way. Sonia baby wake up"

sonia woke still sad, eyes red from crying for her best friend.

"I miss her J"

"I know brat but we will get her back"

"Sonia I need you to pack bags for you your sis and I . I am going to take her with me to go see your father because you know she wont stay still" Be back here in an hour."

she nodded and left and we took my car.

"mom how do you know where dad is?"

"because your father drinks when he is mad.. I am sure he is at his favorite bar"

"and how do you plan on convincing him to sign the papers ma?"

"Your mama was in the army just like him honey plus I happen to be a doctor and I have a great knowledge of the human body" she said smiling a little too wickedly. This was going to be interesting.

We got to the bar and sure enough he was sitting there drinking. She had the papers in her hand.

"You were looking for me? You found me now sign the damn papers"

He looked at her and at me and he spat on the floor near my feet.

"I'll talk to you only not that Dyke"

Ma was genuinely hurt by the comment I couldn't care less.

"Jasmine step away honey go back to the car and wait for me"

"No" I said

"then wait by the door " I stepped back I could do that. I turned around just to see my mother grab my father's right hand and do something to it. He screamed and several people looked.

"There is nothing going on here but a wife and husband talking. Yall remember that . If I ever hear yall say anything to the contrary well.. I do run the only clinic within 100 miles." The onlookers looked away. I smiled my mama had guts and balls. I watched as my father sputtered and his face contorted in pain.

"You cheated on me, beat me, damn near made my daughter homeless and beat and scared the crap out of my other daughter. I don't want the money, I just want you to sign on the dotted line and get you the hell out of my life"

she said loud and clear.

"I need my hand to do that sweetie" he practically screamed it whatever she was pressing in his hand must hurt like a bitch.

"You left handed honey I have your right hand. Here's a pen now sign the mother fucking papers." I had never heard my mom use any bigger curse word then Damn. I had heard miss D use mother fucker quite a lot thought. I was cracking up when it was all said and done. She mama walked over to me and we left out the door together. I was still cracking up when she pulled up to the lawyer's office. After that Sandra called saying she was at the house with our luggage.

"meet us at the clinic baby" ma said and hung up. We ended up at the grocery store.

"we buying groceries ma?"

"yes if I am correct the place where they are doesn't have a grocery store within a 100 hundred miles and Diana wont be willing to make the stop. The poor child must be hungry." We shopped for food and then ma pulled up to the liquor store and we shopped for booze. She called to rent a car and they were dropping it off at the clinic. When the rental came. We packed all the stuff we had bought and our luggage in and we drove off towards the edge of town and up in the mountains.

"hey Sandra ma said motherfucker and she made daddy scream in pain" I said barely able to contain my laughter

"what... oh oh get it ma" Sandra said and started cracking up too. I saw ma smiling through the rear view mirror and I felt like things were gonna be just fine.
