FLOATING

I'm floating.

Floating like hair under water

Or

A feather in the air.

My heart is unstable

Not steady

A drum with discontinuous beats.

I can't control

My thoughts

I think of the oddest things

I zone out

Detached from this world

But only for a moment.

I disappear

Vanish

Only to come back

To become visible again

And I walk once more,

No longer floating,

But living.
