The end and the beginning. Two poems. Please remember that poetry is usually NOT to be taken literally. No more comments about it not making sense please, I don't believe it has to.

Dusk of Repentance
Cold eyes follow me as I pace the sharp hallways of my mind
Amidst the twisted doorways leading to the end of time
Shadows fall over my thoughts, clouding logic and truth
Reason is corrupted, mixing with excuse
Abed within emotion, without cause to leave
There is nothing left to chase, no basis to believe
Trust in your conviction to never let me fall
I leap into the sunset, awaiting the new dawn
-Sunrise of Rebirth
I wake from timeless slumber
Will to live renewed
Victory couched in surrender
My heart and soul for you
-I take your hand with confidence
I bestow my days to you
A dowry of sweet fulfillment
Wrapped in the bow of youth
