Roses are painted
Violets are fake
They're laid down in gardens
Along with the snakes
The roses too pretty
The violets too vain
But it all doesn't matter
When they're in such deep pain
The roses all smile
The violets all grin
We tell them they're pretty
So they can do it again
Roses will judge you
Violets will lie
You weeds don't belong here
You're put here to die
The roses are hateful
The violets won't love
They just sit there in mourning
With their gifts from above
Roses won't flower
Violets can't bloom
What the two never got
Was that they were doomed
