Isuru and I looked at each other.
"These were supposedly for Mr. Octopus and Ms. Lynx. But alas! I just had a fight with them before I got to deliver these." Lady Jellyfish waved the envelopes. "Do you want them? I'll give them to you."
"Really?" I said.
Isuru didn't buy it. "What are you asking for in exchange?"
"I need you to take something from Ms. Cat's room. Don't worry. It's just a key. She won't even know that it's gone. What do you say?"
"No. It's too dangerous," Isuru said.
"These envelopes contain a pass card that allows entry into Mako's floor. I heard he added in some extra security to keep pests out."
Mako is definitely expecting us.
