Angels Cry Tears Of Blood

They say angels cry tears of blood

They say that they are immortal

But killing an angel is actually very simple

All you have to do is make here cry herself to death

I know from experience

And cry I did

But as I did I wondered

Did they deserve my tears

Were they worth my precious blood

Then as I cried my tears turned crystalline

And I realized what angels really are

They are are broken half

The half filled with sorrow

And they are the ones who cry tears of blood

This is a bit old but it was one of the first poems I ever wrote. It is about realizing that your worth more than you think. Hope someone likes it.
