An out of the ordinary
April shower, wouldn't you say?
How can innocent white
Stem from clouds of the blackest grey?
Rain – if any – should fall in its place,
Though last week I stood with
Soft heat on my face
Beaming up into April's sun
And blue skies.
What an odd month and Earth this is.
