Four in a…

Four in a row.

I do not cry.

I cannot speak.

All I can do is curl up

Into a ball,

On my side,

And mindlessly stare at the TV screen

For not one…

Not two…

But three hours.

The channel never changes.

The program never changes.

I don't change for

I am frozen.

All the options I foresaw have been eliminated.

And so all that is left is my despair and the flashing electrons illuminating the room.
