I was lost in this world
than you found me
Alone and scared you took me
away and gave me a place
to call my home
In return I loved more
than anything I wiped your
tears, settled your fears
protected you and called you
mine
I remember listening to your
voice at night, the stories we
would share, the way we played
in the sunlight how we cuddled during
stormy times
But then I had to leave
you alone I didn't mean to make
it so but please remember
my love for you will forever
grow
