All around you, child,
things are piling up-
dirty clothes, due dates,
tasks, worries, life decisions
You're too young, child,
to be saddled with this,
only nineteen, barely old enough
to speak your own mind
So swallow the stories you're fed,
because it's easier.
Keep all the pain deep inside,
Try not to let people see you
less than perfect
