I've got all these sweet, sad things

Sitting down, sleeping now,

All rolled up

Inside me

They swell up, dress up

Every time you are around me.

And I make little half lies,

Smiling little half smiles

All the while

Wanting you,

Wanting you to really

HEAR me

But these words aren't heard.

And I can't speak.

They are deaf

And blind,

These words—

Not words, but physical need.

And it's not just sex

and primal want,

Touching and tasting and more please.

It's presence

And warmth

And simpler things, like

Hugs

And

Softdry kisses.

I don't know how to write these

No words—

They aren't words!

When you are before me,

and

I don't know how to say

That smiling with you is more

Than smiling.

I don't want to say, because I don't know what you are or how you'll take this.

But they just

Bubble up, acting up

Trying to break out

And sing things from me.

so i can't help it

That's why I get so quiet

It is the place that I go

Where you think that I'm not listening…

I am falling for

Crying out for, and

Wanting, wanting, wanting.

(you)
