The willow weeps
Of days long past.
Time, it seems,
Moves far to fast.
Young one moment,
Old the next.
It matters not your
Birth nor sex.
Born to rich,
Or born to poor,
Our lives are striding
To that Door.
Our moments here
Are flitting fast.
Soon we will all be
But bits of ash.
