Chapter 17:

The next morning, I woke up outside of my tent.

"Mornin' Theia." Marlene smiles.

"Hey Marlene, uhm… how did I get outside of my tent?"

"I'm not sure, you should ask Roman, or maybe Hunter." Marlene shrugs.

"Okay, by the way do you know where they are? Hunter and me are suppose to go to the city to buy more supplies. It's our turn that is."

"Hmm. I think Hunter went to the pond. Something about washing up." Marlene smiles.

"Kay, thanks Marlene!" I yell, running to the pond.

"I didn't think you'd wake up yet." Hunter laughs.

"Well, I'm up, we should really get going you know. Before any zombies have a chance to find us."

"I'm sure there's some zombies running around we will probably be spotted."

"Hunter, we are better off now than ever."

"Theia, you know I can see them."

"Hunter! We have to go."

"Uh, fine Theia lets go."

We walk, Hunter and I, just walk probably for the longest time before we get to the nearest store.

We head back, and finally get there.

"There you are." Roman says.

"Hey, Roman."

"I thought I told you I didn't want you going into the city." Roman says, with anger.

"Sorry, but it was my turn to go."

"Okay, well, Hunter you can go now."

"Right, see you later Theia." Hunter smiles.

I sigh, then gaze up at him into his eyes with awe.

"Wow. Theia! I thought you could listen. But obviously you are an idiot! You could have died."

"Excuse me for wanting to help Roman! You know you're not the only person here who can do things." I say, rolling my eyes.

"No Theia. I can do much more than anyone here. That's why I'm the lookout."

"Yeah, the lookout not the fucking leader. You're just an ignorant bustard!" I yell, furious now.

"Theia! You will never call me that got that? In case you forgotten sweetheart, I'm the one who accepted you in. I could have left you to die, or even on your own!"

"Then why didn't you! It's obvious you don't care about anyone but yourself Roman."

"That's where you're wrong. I care about Marlene! Because I love her! Not you. I love Marlene! You fucking idiotic bitch!"
