Good men, women, commonfolk
The time is near
We must take up arms, defend our land
Before there is naught but death
A winged beast, wise, old and powerful
Her wings beat like a thousand sweating drums
Her teeth tear, the swords of a thousand armies
The heat of a thousand suns let loose from the depths her belly
Yet we are man, and it is man who hunts the beast
We find ourselves the prey, always in hiding
There are many of us, and one of her
Yet, here we are.
I ask for your courage, your strength, your will
Together, as one, we will defeat this threat
I have hope, yet we must act now
Or lose all we love, we lust, we lose.
