Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me

That rhyme we were taught to make us stronger

There is some truth in that though

Words don't hurt they kill

Make us question ourselves and beliefs

There's always that one word that will change us every time we hear it

Alter our egos

Change our ways

So the truth is sticks and stone may break my bones but words will crush me when I hear it.
