My World

I look around my room

At all of the familiar things

Some people just assume

When they see my black fairy wings

But Halloween was fun

With my three best friends at my side

Next I look towards the sun

And there I see those that have died

Pictures and things I got

Of those that I have lost and love

Not one item was bought

And they all watch from up above

I then look to my right

At the chalkboard on my wall

Where everything in sight

Was written at my mind's own call

One last thing to look at

Over 400 books of mine

Then on my bed I sat

Knowing my world's complete and fine.
