A/N: A brief foray into slightly erotic fairy tales.
She sat upon her gilded throne, the very picture of cold calculated elegance. Pearls dripped from her neck and rubies glinted in her ears, her voluminous gown draped gracefully over her primly crossed ankles. Perfection and poise.
Oh how looks could be deceiving. If only they knew what lay between those prim little ankles; beneath the icy exterior. What would her loyal subjects say if they knew that mere hours before trial the Red Queen was writhing passionately between the sheets with a known criminal?
His knees ached from kneeling on the marble floors and his wrists burned from his restraints. The appointed court marshal cleared his throat, commanding silence from the excited crowd.
He glared at the man's knees as he spoke. "Your plea has been put before the court." He lifted his head to receive his sentence. "Her majesty has her decree."
He glanced up from his position below the dais, catching her gaze. She looked down on him from atop her pedestal, betraying not one shred of emotion, not one atom of passion in her snapping blue eyes. He knew her inside and out, better than she could ever hop to know herself. But even he could still be surprised.
"Off with his head!"
R&R please.
