Take my hand

And write my words for me.

Show me the cogs

That turn in my mind.

Help me to bring the intricate clockwork

That powers my imagination to life

On paper. Put into words

The sparks that keep

Lighting up my eyes

And don't let them go out.

Put words in my mouth

And put thoughts in my head.

And don't let me sleep

Without writing them down.

Tell me how each can be lined up by each

To make those sparks jump

Off the page. Pick up

The fragments of long-lost flames

And piece them together. Tell me

The meaning to all of this madness

And teach me to tame it. Now,

Show me what to do with it.
