EARTHY TONES
My world
Just white and grey and earthy tones
The only color variation in my life
Are the inhabitants of the black desert
Beyond the comfort of the glass:
Soulless beasts, enslaved by men.
Most of whom are good masters,
Careful to keep them well-hydrated.
If another owner causes harm
To a beast that is not his own,
The offender is required to pay compensation,
And when one becomes too old or sick,
It is replaced
With a younger beast.
