Planet: Aquas

The planet Aquas is an ocean world where the Alliance of light has numerous undersea laboratories. It was here that Jim Frost's body was taken to be studied in order to learn why his blood crystalized when he was stabbed.

"Prepare the nano-probes for injection," said Dr. Tobais to his robotic assistants, "activate the atomic-level scanners and set them to a level 10 frequency."

The robotic assistants, which resembled floating spheres with a mechanical eye and numerous mechanical arms wielding different tools, prepared a syringe full of nano-bots and injected them into the corpse. The readouts began popping up on the screen.

"No way," Tobias exclaimed, "the dark power from the sword is causing the blood to crystalize at a molecular level. Take a sample and scan it with a subatomic analyzer, determine what exactly is going on."

One of the robots floated over to the body and extended an arm with a laser-scalpel to cut a piece from the blood crystals. Strangely though, the crystals couldn't be cut.

"What's with these crystals?" Tobias exclaimed, "Not only are they growing but they are impossible to cut with the tools that we have."

Suddenly the lab shook with explosions and alarms started blaring.

"What's going on?" yelled Dr. Tobias, "Put a visual of the outside on screen!"

A holographic image of the outside of he underwater base appeared. The base was surrounded by streamlined aquatic robots, some with blades and propeller feet, and others with torpedo launchers for heads. There were even soldiers wearing armored aquatic suits and riding submersible versions of hover bikes, complete with torpedo launchers. They were led by general Hydron who wielded a trident with a black gem in it. The robots were blasting and ramming the base's shields.

"We're under attack!" yelled Dr. Tobias, "Send out a distress signal and mobilize the defenses."

The base began to transform, cannons and launchers emerged and submersible Mecha-Suits began launching from the hangers. The robots began charging the Mechas and blasting torpedoes at them and the base while the base fired it's cannons at the enemies.

"Fools," said Hydron pointing his trident at the base, "Great Spirits of Water hear my plea! Strike with the power of a Maelstrom!"

A whirlpool shot out from the trident and slammed into the base, damaging the hull and punching a hole in the shields. The enemy robots began focusing their attacks on that one area, blowing a hole in the hull which the submersible bikers used to get inside. Once inside they began blasting through the lab's defenses until they reached the lab.

Once there, they planted implosion bombs, grabbed the crystalized corpse and disappeared into dark rifts. The outside enemies also vanished into dark rifts in the dimension before the base imploded and was destroyed.

Dimension of Darkness

"DID THE TEAM RECOVER THE CRYSTALS?" boomed the master.

"Yes master," said Death summoning a sphere with the body inside, "We can begin the harvest at any time."

"BEGIN THE HARVEST!"

The three generals floated around the sphere and focused their energies into the sphere causing the body to completely crystalize and fragment into smaller crystals that were absorbed into the master's form.

"HAHAHA, SOON WE WILL BE ABLE TO DEVOUR THE COSMOS AND I WILL BE ABLE TO EMERGE FROM THIS RELM OF SHADOWS."
