Dear Mr. Prince CharmingDear Mr. Charming.

I sit in the dark,

And watch paper cranes flutter in the breeze.

I close my eyes and hope to see,

Another dream of you and me.

Me, happy and free.

You, a figment of my imagination I long to see.

To meet, to talk.

Everyone has a Prince Charming,

And they're on their way,

Or so they say.

Mine just took a wrong turn, got lost.

And now he's too stubborn to ask for directions.

So I sit and wait, and play the damsel in distress for a time,

Before I realize, I have to make my life mine.

So instead of waiting for you to find me,

Mr. Prince Charming.

We're going to try something new.

I figured you were bored of the old routine too.

So here goes…

Are you ready for the new plan?

I've packed my bags; they're waiting by the door.

I'm heading out in search of you…

Get ready, if you can.
