Lifeless earth
The winds are screaming over a barren earth
No grass, no trees, nothing gives birth
The world is now dead
No sun or moon light up the sky
But the twinkling stars seem to cry
Over the death of the world
Still water that has gone rancid
Steaming pools of lava and acid
The only difference in sight
No sign that there was ever life
Nor of the struggle that balanced on the edge of a knife
And fell the wrong way
The sands are dead
The waters are red
And nothing will be the same
