Leaving the best of times behind
Is always the hardest thing to do
Wishing that time could rewind
Is the natural thing to do
Yet how I wish these times could stay
I have to watch with blurry eyes
As those I love continue their day
And once I leave the time will fly
Long after I have said goodbye
