Stereotype

The typical stereotypes,
the jocks, the geeks, the queers,
Everything good and bad about all,
I defy them.

I am the confuser,
I'm no part of anything,
I am my own person.
No amount of pressure will change that.

I flew through the genres,
Free as a bird,
looking for no place to anchor,
It is a good life, but a lonely one.

Finally, I put down roots,
Put them down in a place I called home,
I was happy,
Then it was savagely ripped away,

By You.
