Rain
Kiwasaki Emerald

The rain falls gently down

Allowing the moon to take its place within the sky

The rain falls on my back bringing memories

Of time where you cried for me, only me

I promised to help you

I wanted to protect you

Yet I failed at both of my causes

Can you see me from where you are?
Do you find me guilty?

I allowed it all to happen, this...last...time

My regrets pushes me forward

As I look for a way to find you

Over and over again you had been hurt

And this last time I couldn't save you

Standing right here

I try to forget the pain I feel

The brightest thing in my memories

Is the smile that you always showed me

Sadness fills my body and yet I cannot cry

How can I express my pain

The moon is my face and the rain is my tears

I just don't know how else I can say it

Wishing you were here

I stared up at the night sky

Only to bring back those sweet memories

The darkness above

Envelopes everything that is

Surrounding me at this very moment

Why did I allow all this to happen to you?

Wonderous night sky, can you fulfill one wish
If only to this broken body of mine

Please bring back to me the most precious person

To have ever lived

I wonder if it could happen

Bringing back my precious light

So that I could be happy

My body is vanishing from here

And I just want to see you once again

No one can ever blame you ever again

You must be smiling as the rain has stop falling on me

I can't understand how you could smile so serenely

Through all the pain that you went through

I just can't say goodbye just yet

As such my vanishing body is all alone

Away from my precious one...

The pain is unbearable...

But I see your smiling face...
