Find me the shattered pieces
And I'll get you the glue,
Because all I ever wanted
Was to keep this picture of you
Keep this picture of you in my head,
And then I can pretend that that world isn't dead,
The world where you loved me and I loved you,
But right now that isn't so easy to do
Because I've lost you now and I've finally learned
That darkness will always find a way to return,
Blow out your candle, extinguish the flame,
And leave me in the shadows with only my pain
And I'm sorry for all I could not do,
Sorry for all I could not say,
And I hope you don't ever
Wish your life away
But what's the point in wishing,
If it never comes true,
Because all I've ever wished for
Is to fix this picture of you.
