Nursery Rhyme: Shadow Cat-By King Lune

One misty morning,

A black cat came up to me,

He asked why the rain was pouring,

And why the clouds wept so free,

I told him with eyes so bright,

That the clouds wept for sorrow,

Of all the badness cloaked in sight,

And all the children trapped in the shadow.
