"The MAD COW"

Series: An Element of Writer's Block

Oh how the cow has gone mad I say

The cow no longer enjoys his hay

I hope he hasn't lost his mind

It appears he might be blind

At night, he feasts on the chickens

While women work in the kitchens

He speaks to me, his voice wise

But his eyes only watch the flies

Oh cow, oh cow, are you mad

Perhaps the cow is just sad

Poor cow, he just lost his dad

I realize that this poem is bad

Just remember, it is the cow that is mad
