Chapter 1

"Hey Victoria, did you finish your project?"

"No, it's not due until the end of next month, why?"

"'Cause I finished, that's why~!"

"…zzz"

"Wake up Richie, school's almost over!"

"Everyone please just shut up." I thought. Why is it that people take the last period of the day as free time? I mean, technically it is, but do they really need to act like wild animals?

"AUGH! MY ARM!"

"Manny, did you really need to bite him?"

"Yes."

Apparently they do.

"Excuse me, but I uh, forgot your name." Here we have the most popular girl in the school, Mimi Zoel. She has pretty much every single boy wrapped around her finger. She's also one of the two red heads in our class. What did she want with me, a quiet girl with nothing good to say? Although, that does admittedly give me some good blackmail if I ever need it.

"My name is Selena Borton. What do you want?" Excuse me for sounding rude, but I really wanted to go home.

"Um, is it okay if my friends and I can go to your house to study?" What? "We heard you are really good at plant stuff and well, we suck."

"Excuse me?" Did she just say she wanted to come to my house? Did she really just say that? "Um, only if your parents are cool with it." Did I just say that she could come? Did I really just say that? Woah, déjà vu.

"Yay! Hey guys, she said okay!" She rushed back to her friends who all cheered, except for the blond spiky haired guy who was nursing his arm while glaring at the other boy.

"Does she have bandages? I think Mr. Sharky here managed to bite through my skin."

"I did not! You're totally okay!" What did I just get myself into?
