"Don't touch my daughter," Kumary said, running at Zackery. Kumary punched him and Yasha jumped up and stood between Kumary and Zackery.

"Leave him alone!" Yasha said and pushed him away.

"I don't trust him," Kumary said.

"I don't trust you," Yasha said. "You told them where Christa was even though you knew that they could have killed her."

"They told me they wouldn't hurt her or you," Kumary said.

"I don't care," Yasha said. "You still put her in danger. I'll never trust you again. Come on Zackery, let's get Christa home."

Zackery picked Christa up and went to the door. "This isn't over!" Mathew screamed. "I will have your powers."

"Yeah, I don't think so," Yasha said. She put her hand out, palm up, and the master ring disappeared from Mathew's finger and reappeared in her hand. "Look at that, I can use my powers," Yasha said and clenched her fist around the ring.

"Mom, stop!" Christa said. "If you use your powers for evil, you will become evil."

"Okay," Yasha said and loosened her grip on the ring. "Let's go." She followed Zackery outside and he put Christa down.

Yasha moved the rock that was in front of the hole that Sunset was hiding in and gently pulled her out.

"I got the master ring," Yasha told Sunset and showed her the ring.

"That's great!" Sunset said.

"Thanks," Yasha said.

"What did she say?" Christa asked.

"Oh, right, I have the necklace," Yasha said. "She said that's great. Take the necklace, I'll wear the ring." She put the ring on her finger and took off the necklace.

Yasha handed the necklace to Christa and she put it on.

"You know he's never going to give quit," Zackery said. "He never quits until he gets what he wants."

"Next time we'll be ready," Christ said. "Nothing can break a spell cast by a whole family."

"Let's go home," Yasha said and the three started walking back to Yasha's house.

As they walked Yasha heard glass shatter but didn't say anything to her companions.
