Prayer 1

Lord God I am sorry for the sins I've committed.

I am aware of my unworthiness for you have searched my soul; I am naked before you.

I will not pretend that I have surrendered myself fully to you for I am still attached to the things of this world. Oh Lord God! When will I be able to rid myself of such worldly desires? I can't do anything on my own lord God so please guide me. I give myself to you Lord God so please change me into something you will be proud of.

Thank you, Lord God for your unfailing love...thank you for sending your only son to Earth so that he may die for our sins. Thank you for giving me your Holy Spirit so I can be near to you. Thank you, for putting the words in my mouth when I speak to others. Thank you for your constant protection Lord God.

Lord God, I pray that you give me strength to overcome my trials. I know that you are testing me, that you are molding me into the image of your son Jesus. Lord God, please help me get through these hard times so I can come out stronger and wiser, so I may teach the people of your word lord.

I pray Lord God that you will change people's lives when they read my testimony and prayers. Even if I manage to put that tiny seed in their minds, that tiny thought of "Maybe there is a God out there...Maybe there is a God who loves me" then Lord God, I am satisfied. I pray that those who already believe and follow your son Jesus' steps will be encouraged by my prayers and that they too will feel the same peacefulness I feel when I am in your presence.

I pray that you always keep us in your presence and that you keep us away from worldly things. This life is only a test, a rehearsal for eternity with you Lord God. Help us see through this illusion that money and being successful is the only thing in life. I know that people only strive for success and money because they are trying to fill a hole in their hearths, a hole that can only be filled by you. Lord God, please fill that hole, fill us with your loving presence of Lord!

I pray for guidance, for wisdom, and for everyone who lost hope Lord God...Please be their hope! Please show them the same love you gave me!
