"Why the hell didn't you tell me!" I shouted, tears were streaming down my face. My iPod was blasting Evanescence, hoping the music will try to keep me calm. "Don't cry," he said, "I don't want to leave seeing your face like this...". "DON'T LEAVE ME!" My bangs were falling over my face as I cried.

My Ghostly Love

I just wanted to draw before class started. But somehow it ended up with me ditching class with the hottest boy in my grade. When did my life become this confusing? I looked up at the boy I was currently running with. What was his name again? Steve I think.

Still running I said to him, "Hey, Where are we going?" He replied to me with a simple grunt and ran even further while still holding my hand. His hair was black and reached up to mid-neck and had dull brown eyes, his lean build and tall structure.

We kept on running (mind me but I was exhausted!) until we came upon this large forest twenty or forty meters away from the school. "We're here," He said. He smiled a small smile as I went in the forest to find a small tree house by a tiny pond.

"Wow," Was all I could say. I walked to the lake to find it pure and clean. Little fish were swimming around in it too. "How did you find this?" I asked him. "More importantly, when?" I added in.

Chuckling he said to me in a low voice "I found this while I was ditching class in elementary, It's been my hideout since," I nodded until I thought of something…

"Wait, didn't you move here 2 years ago, around the beginning of high school?" I asked him. He shook his head.

"No, I lived here for most of my life, I think you got me confused with someone else," He looked at me weirdly. Wrong person I guess I thought. I sat down by the lake and looked up at the sky. The sun was beaming down brightly and the sky was as clear as the pond. Everything was just about perfect, except I forgot about Steve.

I looked at him to see that he was smirking at me with amusement. "I never thought you can forget about me so easily," he said. I felt my face heat up in embarrassment.

"Be quiet!" I exclaimed, "I bet you forgot someone was by you one time in your life Steve!" The minute I said his name his smirk became even wider. "What is it?" I screeched.

He took 5 long strides over to me. His smirk kept on widening slowly for each step he took. When he stopped in front of me his eyes were full of amusement. "What's my name?" He asked me.

"Who are you, Rihanna?" I said to him raising my eyebrow. "Your name's Steve right?" He chuckled like I said something funny. "What's so funny with me saying your name?"

"My name's Scott,"

I feel so stupid right now.

"Whoops," I said. I can't believe I said his name was Steve 2 times when it was Scott! Stupid me! I face heated up in embarrassment, "Scott, huh?"

"That's my name, don't wear it out," He winked at me flirtatiously. I groaned and laid down in the grass.

"How are you such an egoist?" I asked him. "I mean, One minute you are a nice guy. The next you are such a...thing!" I couldn't find the right word so I ended up saying 'thing'. Stupid me.

Scott ended up chuckling. Soon the chuckling became full out laughter, then he ended up falling to his knees bellowing in laughter. Now I just feel like smashing my head against a tree. But I just ended up feeling stupid and ran away from him. "Oh god," I mumbled to myself. "I can't believe I did that," my cheeks started to become warm the more I thought about it. After a few seconds of sprinting away I became tired. I never was a person to run fast for a long period of time. I'm fit, I admit that. But I'm not one of those chicks who don't like running because it makes them sweaty.

I sat down by a large evergreen tree. I can't believe I never saw this forest before...I've been here for my entire life and I have never seen this before... I thought. I closed my eyes to take in my surroundings. I can hear the birds flying and flapping their wings. The squirrels and other small animals scurrying around for different reason.

Snap.

I suddenly heard a twig snap. Then the rustle of leaves from a bush about 3 meters away. In a matter or ten to twenty seconds, Scott popped in front of me like a ghost. But with the leaves all over his body, I started to laugh at him the same way he laughs with me. But I ended up gasping for air when I was done. "You done yet?" I heard him ask. I looked up to see Scott having an annoyed grimace on his face.

Nodding, I stood up and dusted off the imaginary dust particles off my school uniform. I yawned and walked away from Scott. "Okie dokie, thanks for showing me your hideout. See you Scott" I said waving good bye. I hope I will be able to forget him...
