War will never end,
Even when the oppisition lays dead.
Why must we fight each other?
What is there to gain, when losing a potential brother?

War never changes,
It just follows us through the ages.
We must remember,
The soldiers who rest in eternal slumber.

War is damaging,
But yet, to stop it proves to be challenging.
We need to find eternal peace,
So that war will cease.

When the war is over,
We wonder, could we have sunk any lower?
Now where the soldiers lay and the wind does blow,
Their poppies will forever grow
