So the titles not my favorite. Sorry, I couldn't think of one. Heres the summary. My name is Natalie Dylan. I was normal, up until a little while ago. But one night, when I was out with my friend, swimming in the ocean, I became a mermaid.

Mom's P.O.V.
Prologue
I sat up gasping, my eyes wide. A loud noise came from outside. It sounded almost… like a crying. I crept out of my bed, kicking my blankets back. Padding across the wooden floor of my bedroom, I slowly opened my door, and crept down the hall. It was dark, and the only light came from the white light of the moon, filtering through the windows. When I reached the mudroom, the noise was louder. The stone floor drained the heat out of my feet, and I began shivering. I regretted not putting my slippers on.
I unlocked the door, and slowly slid it open. My yard was small, but the view of the ocean was amazing. The moon glinted off the water, and sparkled intensely. The grass was bright green, and the flowers in the gardens, that I had planted earlier that summer where pale white, and electrically bright in the light of the full moon.
Sitting on my door step, in a basket, was a crying baby. She had long wavy brown hair, and sea green eyes. Her little hands opened and closed on the air, as she screamed and cried. A little folded note, written in scrawny hand writing, was folded next to the baby. The note said:
Whoever has found my baby, please take care of her. Don't put her in an orphanage, for she would surely die. Please give her a good home, and love her as you would your own daughter. I can not bear to loose her, but its for the best.
~ A single mother, with one hope
I stared in horror at the letter. A mother was giving away her child! How could she be so unthankful? She was lucky to even be able to have a child. I instantly decided to take her in. I was old enough, almost thirty one, and I still wasn't married. I didn't want to adopt from anywhere yet, but a baby had been found on my door step. And she was awfully adorable.
When the baby saw my face, she smiled, and I felt an instant bond between the two of us. I loved her with all of my heart. "I love you." I said, and carried the baby into my house. " I will love you forever."
