Love Assassin

Prologue

An elderly male snores, slumped in his faded plush armchair. The familiar tick tack sound of a woman's high heel interrupts the silence of the night. With the darkness hiding her features; she slowly closes in onto the male like a jaguar on the prowl. She stops beside the arm chair before bending over to brush some of the silvery strands from his face lovingly. The elderly male barely stirs and only gives a snort before diving into further dreams of unknown. "Having a good sleep…?" The male doesn't wake but begins to murmur in his sleep. "Sandra…get in…the pool…" The woman smirks for a split second before distain etched her features.

The woman abruptly stands up before heading over to the sword decoration hanging above the fireplace. She silently pulls out the blade and swings it expertly for a minute. The steel glimmers ominously before she steps up to the male sitting in the armchair. "Don't worry Fred…Since you are having such a great dream…" The woman holds up the sword, her eyes glittering in contempt. "Stay in it." The sword falls and the silence resumes undisturbed, as a crimson moon watches on coldly.
