wake up and smell the coffee
burnt by a careless hand
find a new way to wake up
and sort yourself out each morning
because your alarm clock can't cope
with the irregularity anymore
it's sent out a job application form
alarm clock seeking employment with a husband
because at the end of the day
it's just a piece of metal on our fingers isn't it
