They say it's important

To Pray everyday

They say that this Jesus will

Take sin away

They tell us to live

a live set apart

And To all the others,

the good news impart

They tell us the Bible

is totally true and J

esus has given a

life that is new

I go to their churches

And listen all day

I want to find this

thing they all claim

I want to be holy

and pure like they say

I want this Jesus

to take Sin away

But I spent hours praying

And never did he

Waste his precious time

Listening to me

I watched all those elders

when they didn't know

To see what secrets

They hadn't told

And what did I find

Those who had told me

To live and be pure

Where doing the things

they'd Condemned me for
