"The Day on the Hill"
Grass as green as the sea
The air was swarming with
butterflies and bees
Rolling down the hill
Our five-year old screams
couldn't have been more shrill
Running with Grampy
all over the place
seeing his smile
illuminate his face
Looking back I took advantage
of the precious times we had
and now that he is gone
I find myself very sad
That day up on the hill
Is a memory that will always fill
Both my heart and my mind
