Hey! Well this is an idea that popped into my head in relation to a short novel ive been working on since year 4. Well the story was actuially getting quite long until my laptop broke and it wiped the story last year. I havent gotten the heart to start it again since i know it wont be as good as my original.

Summary: Jewel and Kitty were washed away from their parents in a storm while they were rowing.

I pushed with all my might and gleamed with triumph at the look on her face as she tumbled gracefully into the water. I turned my back and waited for her to resurface. But she didn't. Heart thumping I peered over the edge of the boat. There, in the once clear water was a fast spreading patch of red. My thoughts went blank.

Oh no Kitty! NO!

"Kitty!" I yelled as I dived in after her all sense of dignity gone. I reached blindly around in the water and jumped as my foot touched something squishy. I propelled myself up to the surface of the water and gasped for breath.

I once again dived down and grabbed onto her collar. I pulled with everything I had and managed to get her back onto the boat.

I gasped as I saw a waterfall of blood cascading down her face.

I might do Kittys POV during this scene later :)
