Tangibility

tiny raindrop falls to the ground at seven centimetres
per second and shatters into a million particles, the
dim light slicing through each jewelled tear as thousands
of little spectral rainbows burst through,
invisible to the eyes which do not search

but the smell of rain instantly hits my nostrils
and it feels like home
