We are...
We are the sheep
...innocent and following...
But yet we are the lions,
...hungry for some power...
We are the dogs
...loyal and so faithful...
But yet we are the snakes,
...backstabbing with such hatred...
We are the only simple men,
...made from that very dust...
But yet we are modelled after God,
..who is all powerful and mighty..
We are so different but yet the same
..Oh what an inverted world we live in...
How contradictable of us...
..to think we are superior!
When we cower in the presence
..Of God, the, Almighty..
Well, I'm no judge, nor the accused
But both; as men alike hold such a power,
To be not one, but all the same,
And opposite of each other...
AN: This is my most recent poem! . It doesn't have a withstanding rhyme, but rather a pattern and a beat...well I guess...Anyway, hopefully you guys like it and please review!
