It was a nice day outside when a couple decided to walk around and get some exercise. They finally finished the week and Saturday that was full of work from their jobs. The two held hands as they walked through the city.
One was a short girl, who stood a little over a foot below her partner. Her white hair was let loose, instead of in a ponytail like she normally had it. Her red eyes stood out in the day light. Her boyfriend was a slightly tall male with blonde hair and grey eyes. Red eyes window browsed the shops they passed. Soon she stopped outside one store, causing her partner to stop and look at her.
"Kris?"
She was staring with a smile through a window. Looking over her shoulder, he saw why she stopped. Inside the window were a kittens; white ones, black ones, calicos…the colors ranged between them all as they played with each other and the toys given to them. One kitten stopped when it noticed the couple staring in the window.
The kitten was white, with a tan spot on his back and the top of his head. Placing its paws on the windows, it mewed at the couple, causing Kris's smile to widen. She was sucker for cute pets. Letting go of her boyfriend's hand, she counted in her head, counting figures and such before turning to her boyfriend.
"Havi~! Can we get a kitten? Please oh please oh please~?" she asked, giving him the biggest puppy eyes she could muster.
Havi looked down at his girlfriend and grinned, hugging her towards him, "So cute! Yes, yes you can get a kitten."
Kris squee'd before running into the pet store, leaving a 'I'm buying a kitten!' in her wake. Havi chuckled and followed her inside, seeing her leaving over the small glass cage that held the kittens. The kitten with the tan spots pushed away the other kittens and she picked it up. She found out the kitten was male, which was all the more better. She was cuddling the kitten when he made his way over to him. He reached out and started petting the kitten by his ears.
"I'm getting this one," she stated, before moving off to find a collar, toys, bed, crate, and food.
As she walked off, Havi could have sworn the kitten was glaring at him, but he shrugged it off as nothing, choosing to help her instead. They finally got home successfully with the new family member, which was still in his carrier box and mewing in fright. Closing the door behind them, they set everything down on the living room floor before Kris opened the box and let the kitten out.
The two watched the kitten sniff around before hiding behind the couch. Kris grabbed the cat bowls and matt from one of the bags and placed some food in one before going to the kitchen to fill the other bowl with water.
Havi, on the other hand, unpacked the small cat bed and some toys, letting them roll and make noise as he let go. One of the toys he held onto was a stick with a feather on string attached to the end. He flicked it towards the back of the couch and watched a small paw try to claw it before poofing back behind the couch. He smiled before doing it a few times as Kris walked back into the room with the bowl of water. They set the bowls on a matt near the kitchen entrance before Kris forcefully pulled the kitten from behind the couch and showed him where his food and water was.
"What are you naming him?"
"Hm… she hummed, staring at the cat as it lapped the water.
Havi pulled the girl into his lap and wrapped his arms around her waist, placing his chin on her shoulder and blowing a piece of her hair, causing a shiver to run down the girl's spine and him to grin at the reaction.
"Kappa."
Havi blinked, before letting out a laugh and asking her why.
"Cause it's silly but cute. Look, the spot on his back is the kappa shell, and the spot on his head are the leaves."
"You have a wild imagination Kiki."
Kris tilted her to the side and grinned at him, "I know. It's wonderful."
The kitten, Kappa, mewed at the couple, demanding attention that wasn't being given to him. Kris picked him up and started to pet him before grabbing one of the toys and playing with him instead. Havi leaned back on his hands, watching his girlfriend play with her new friend from his lap.
"OW!"
He jumped, almost knocking Kris to the floor as he grabbed his ankle. Pulling up his jeans, he saw fresh red lines marring his skin. Looking at Kappa, he frowned. Kris was giggling but asked if he was okay. Nodding in answer to her question, he looked at the kitten whom only stared back at him. Luckily the skin didn't break.
Soon Havi got up to start dinner as Kris sat on the floor, her back to the couch as she watched TV. Kappa was in her lap, purring away as she absently petted him. The blonde walked back into the room, setting down two plates of food. The plates held small club sandwiches and homemade french fries. The two nibbled on their food, watching the TV.
It got later and later before it was time to go to bed. Kris set up the kittens bed and setting the sleepy kitten down on it. Havi soon picked her up, causing her to squeak and then laughing, wrapping her arms around his neck to secure herself. She hated heights, but was getting used to him doing at least this much. The two went upstairs, closing the door behind them.
Havi grinned as he set his girl down on the bed, crawling atop of her and kissing her. Her arms relinked around his neck. The two continued to kiss as his hand went under her top, breaking the kiss and pulling it over her head. He quickly did the same to himself before going back to her lips. His left hers and trailed down her jaw, nipping her neck and then nibbling her ear, causing a small moan to escape her throat.
"Havi…"
The blonde grinned and his hand attached to her chest, playing and teasing her.
MEOW!
The two stopped, blinking and listening. Nothing else happened so they continued what they were doing. Kris's hands unbuckled his pants and were tugging them down.
MEOW! MEW!"
The two stopped again, looking towards their closed door. The sound was a lot closer than it was the first time.
MEW!
Havi groaned before getting up while Kris laughed, covering her flat chest with a blanket. Even though it was just the cat, they didn't want to risk Havi's mom hearing the cat and being outside the door when it opened. Havi turned the knob, after securing his pants and gritting his teeth at the pressure in his lower areas. Opening it, blue eyes stared up at him and mewed lightly.
Sighing, he picked up the kitten and closed the door, before opening it back up a crack just in case. Walking back to the bed, he let the kitten go, which in turn, ran into his girlfriend's arms. He noticed she was dressed in just in shirt. Shaking off his pants, he dropped onto the bed on his side, trying to think of anything that would rid the hardness in his boxers.
He felt arms wrap around him and a body press to his back, then pressure on the pillow above the two bodies. Turning in his girl's arms, he wrapped his own arms around her, keeping her close. Blue eyes stared down at the two before closing and falling asleep peacefully above the couple's heads.
Sharp pain. That's what Havi felt on his stomach when he was beginning to wake up. The pain got worst and he let out a yelp, moving away from it and sitting up. What would have been in-between their bodies was Kappa, claws out and glaring at the male. Kris groaned and rubbed her eyes, letting out a yawn and waking up herself. Red eyes locked with grey before moving down his chest and towards the claw marks on his stomach, which was now starting to bleed.
Eyes widening, she jumped up and ran to the bathroom, grabbing a paper towel and wetting it before coming back. "Turn."
He did what she demanded, turning and sitting on the end of the bed as she knelt down, and dabbed lightly at the cuts.
"Are you okay Havi?"
"Yeah. Just small cuts. Sharp claws that kitten has."
Kris nodded, continuing to dab the small cuts until the bleeding came mostly to a store. She bit her lip as she noticed how red the paper towel got. Havi took it away from her, knowing the problem, and stood up. He went towards the bathroom and tossed it away, before getting dressed for the day.
Kris followed his example and got dressed as well. Her clothes for the day were covered in grease, oil, and dirt. She was truly a mechanic. The two left the room, the kitten trailing behind them. They ran into Havi's mom down in the kitchen as she made herself some cereal. Spotting Kappa, she jumped up and picked him up, cuddling him close.
Kappa took in all the attention he was getting, purring in response. Havi watched his mom, Carol, cuddle the creature. Blue eyes locked with his own and he swore the glare was still there towards him before they closed and nuzzled into his moms hair.
'That cat is out to get me…' he thought, frowning. Looking at the time, he blinked before rushing around, grabbing his stuff. Kissing his moms cheek, than kissing Kris on her lips, said his good-byes and ran out the door to work.
The day ended sooner than he expected it as he trudged up to his front door, two of his friends behind one. One was a tall male with silver hair and red eyes that gleamed. Next to him with an equally some-what tall male with blue hair and eyes with a smile on his face. Unlocking the door, he turned out the lights and let his friends in. He saw a white small blur dive behind the couch before chuckling, remembering the small kitten.
"You guys got a cat?" the silver haired male questioned, having seen the 'blur' dive away.
"Yes Lance. We got a kitten. His name is Kappa. I think he's out to get me though."
"Why do you say that?" the blue haired male questioned, peeking behind the couch and peering at the cute fluff that was behind it.
Kappa mewed and came out, cuddling up to Purest. Lance and Havi stared at the kitten, which seemed to glare right back at them.
"SEE! You saw that right Lance?"
Lance nodded his head and reached to take the kitten from his friend's arms before it hissed and scratched him. He let out a hiss of his own as the claws came in contact with his skin, glaring at the offending creature in the other male's arms.
Purest laughed and handed his friend a band aid from his pocket. He always had some sort of first-aid on him.
"What is up with a that thing?"
"I don't think he likes tough looking people."
"Or males. I swear that kitten cock-blocked me on purpose last night."
That seemed to get stares. Flushing red, he stared at the ground as the cat let out a mew that sounded like it held an amused tone. The door opened and Kris stepped in, yawning as she set down her bag. Kappa left Purest's arms and ran to his own, mewing at her until she picked him up, petting him as she walked towards the group.
"Lance. Purest."
"Kris," the two males greeted back.
Kris plopped down on the ground next to Havi, taking notice of the look the kitten gave her boyfriend the moment she got close. Chuckling, she held the kitten out in front of her. "Do you not like Havi, Kappa?"
Kappa purred in response, nuzzling against her wrist. That was a yes to all the group.
"He doesn't like Lance either," Havi grumbled, glaring at Kappa.
The white haired female let out a laugh and laid back on the ground, setting the kitten on her stomach and petting him. "I talked to the pet store owner today on my way to work. Apparently this kitten hates males but slowly warms up to them as time goes by and they're around more. It took a bit to get the kittens trust himself he told me."
The three nodded, but then stopped and stared at Purest, while Purest stared at the kitten with a hurt expression.
"Not ALL males apparently…"
Kris only laughed.
